Your contact info
When you sign up for our mailing list, we collect and store your name and email address. You can unsubscribe at any time by using the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of any of our emails.
We use Woocommerce and Stripe on our website shop. When you purchase an item through our shop, we collect the following information about you:
- What products you ordered and when
- Your name, e-mail address, and phone number
- Your billing (and optionally: shipping) address
- A note about the payment method you used
Any card details are securely collected and stored (if you choose to store your details) by Stripe, not on our website, and we do not have access to this information at any time. Stripe is a well-known and trusted payment gateway, and meet the strict security measures necessary for payment processing.
If you purchase a poster, we will share your name & address with our printers so you can receive your order.
We will never sell your information to third parties.
If you choose to set up an account on our website, the information you provide will remain in your account until you choose to delete it.
Security
We try hard to ensure that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical and electronic procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect from you online.
We can’t guarantee the safety and privacy of information you provide to third parties via our website (e.g. Mailchimp), but we do our best to use trusted, well-known technology to reduce any risks to your information.
Controlling your data
You can request to view any of the information we hold about you, and/or request for it to be edited or deleted from our systems at any time by contacting us at: hello@deptofkindness.com

We are not responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting these sites, and these sites are not covered by this privacy statement.
